Heyy, my name is Chloe and I’m a freshman in the Mt. Pleasant homeschool group. I’m taking Computer Science in our co-op and I interviewed the president and founder of the co-op.

Q. What do you like about the co-op?
A. Each mom gets to teach subjects they enjoy. Also I like the group dynamics.
Q. What can you tell us about this group?
A. We have close to 30 families and 100 or more kids. We have classes from nursery to 12th grade. We offer the core subjects like math, science, and English, along with the electives, also that we are still homeschooled under the parent’s authority.
Q. When was it started?
A. It officially started in the fall of 2004. We started off with only two classes, and now are up to five.
Q. What does it do?
A. The purpose of co-op is to enrich the 7-12th graders in the core subjects.
Q. Who does it reach?
A. The co-op reaches families in the Mt. Pleasant area.
